Privacy & cookies

This notice describes how the current WheelVexa website uses information and cookies. Updated 22 September 2026.

Who operates this website?

WheelVexa is operated by Shanghai Yongke Network Technology Co., Ltd., the English translation of 上海咏客网络科技有限公司. Our registered office is 5th Floor, Building 11, No. 6055 Jinhai Highway, Fengxian District, Shanghai, China. You can write to this address, marked “WheelVexa privacy”, with a question or request about your information. See About WheelVexa for the company registration details.

Browsing, shopping and account information

Your browser sends technical information when it requests a page, including its IP address, the requested address, browser information and the time of the request. Our hosting systems use this information to deliver the website and diagnose errors or misuse. The website is hosted on infrastructure in the United States and operated by the company in China.

Shopping functions process the products, options and quantities you select. If you use account or checkout functions, the information you enter may include your name, email, account details and billing or delivery details. This information is used for the requested function; it is not included in our Google Analytics events. Online payment and shipping setup is currently incomplete: a cart or checkout preview is not a confirmed order. Do not enter card or bank details in a build brief or review.

Build briefs

The current build-brief tool prepares a draft only. It does not deliver an enquiry or create a saved enquiry record. Reviewing a brief with JavaScript enabled updates the preview in your browser. If JavaScript is unavailable, the website processes the submitted fields to return a preview. These form submissions use POST so newly entered details are not added to the page address. Links from the catalogue may carry product choices into the preview.

Keep briefs limited to your design and specification needs. Do not include identity documents, payment details or other confidential information. Copying a brief places its text on your device’s clipboard. You control any later sharing of that copy.

Why information is processed

Optional analytics is based on your consent, which you can withdraw. Information needed to carry out a shopping or account request is processed to provide the service or take steps you request before an order. Basic server and security records support our legitimate interests in delivering a reliable website, diagnosing faults and protecting it against misuse. This notice does not ask you to consent to advertising.

Necessary cookies and browser storage

WordPress and WooCommerce use cookies and browser storage to maintain sign-in, security checks, basket contents and shopping sessions. These functions are separate from optional analytics. Your browser can remove or block cookies, although doing so may reset your cart or prevent account functions from working. Our privacy-choice cookie records your analytics choice for six months.

Optional analytics

Google Analytics loads only after you allow analytics. It measures pages viewed, catalogue and cart activity, country and device category. We remove URL queries from the page addresses sent to analytics and do not send contact fields, payment information or build-brief text. Analytics is not used for personalised advertising.

You can decline analytics or withdraw permission using “Privacy settings” in the footer. Declining does not prevent shopping. Google Analytics cookies are configured to last up to 13 months; event and user data are retained for 14 months. Google processes analytics information on its systems, which may be outside your country. Read Google’s privacy policy for its processing practices.

Product reviews

If you submit a review, WordPress processes the review text, name, email and technical request information. The review and display name may be published; the email field is not displayed as part of the review. Avoid placing private information in public review text. WordPress avatar features are enabled, so an avatar request may be made to Gravatar. Its practices are described in Automattic’s privacy notice.

Retention and requests

Standard web-server access logs rotate daily, retaining 14 rotated files; diagnostic records and backups can have separate lifecycles. Account and review records remain in WordPress until removed through its account, moderation or privacy tools. Shopping session records are temporary; recorded order information, if an order is created, is separate from the session. Analytics retention is described above.

You may write to the company address above to ask what information is held about you, request a copy, request correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, data portability and a complaint to a data-protection authority. We may need information sufficient to verify that a request relates to your own records. Requests and any retention obligations must be assessed for the records concerned.

This notice will need to be updated when enquiry delivery, payment services or other data-processing features change.
